City and Hackney PCT have commissioned deafPLUS to develop services for deaf and hard of hearing people in this local authority area.

Leo Mansell has been appointed to this post and he:

• provides one on one support to local deaf and hard of hearing people
• provides advice on health issues
• undertakes a survey of local needs
• arranges group learning and social events.

He is based at our Whitechapel Centre and he carries out a drop-in surgery at teh Hackney CVS on Monday mornin. Click on Community Centres/Whitechapel to find out more.
