The Tower Hamlets Employment service has put up a survey asking people what they thought about our training courses. Click on Training on the menu bar above then Training Course Survey.

We provide employment support to Deaf and hard of hearing people living in East London. The deafPLUS Employment Service provides intensive support to deaf and hard of hearingpeople living in East London with the following:

• Assessing needs clients as to their employment needs
• Developing action plans to help clients get back into work
• Training in:
  • Job preparation
  • Maths
  • English
  • IT
  • Other depending on specific requirements
• Support with seeking employment
• Help with and translating telephone calls
• Assistance in filling in applications for employment
• Help with writing your own CV
• Assistance with applying for Access to Work funds
• On-job assistance and support

The deafPLUS Employment Service is based at our Whitechapel Centre and is open every day of the week, Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm.
