deafPLUS is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive to provide inspiring strategic leadership through the next stage of its development.

Amongst other criteria, the successful candidate will have:
Understanding of the needs, concerns of Deaf / Visually Impaired People.
- A track record as strategic thinker with evidence of successfully using their skills to transform strategic vision into reality.
- Ability to negotiate, influence and effect change and to develop working relationships with people from a wide variety of backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and presentational skills, taking into account the communication needs of Deaf people. Ideally we are looking for someone with at least BSL Level 2.
- Proven leadership role within the public, private or voluntary sector and or a Deaf or Disabled person’s organisation.
- A proven track record of securing / generating funding and managing budgets.
